Wow! Just when I think I have a handle on my schedule it just seems to get more hectic. So here we find ourselves another week later and I am just getting to the number nine slot on My 2022 Top 10 Most Read Authors. This author is one of my absolute favorites when I need a laugh with a dash of alpha male on the side. I love her quirky characters and the way they are reluctant to fall for the lady fair and yet do it all the same. Many of her books are go to comfort reads for me and when I get overcome by the sheer number of books in my “To be read” folder, I often find myself curled up with one of her’s.
That’s probably why, out of the 148 total authors that have graced my Kindle app on my IPad mini, in the form of 431 different stories, this year she is number nine. I admit I was not as active a reader this year as I have been in previous years, hey work, school (I have gone back to upgrade my associates degree to a bachelor’s degree, yikes!), and kids (adult though they may be) tend to get in the way, but I have high hopes for this year. We are only in the middle of March, and I have already read 79 books. Go Me!
Anyway, I digress, out of 431 books, this author has made it to my ereader on 11 different occasions. No matter if it was the first time or the fiftieth, I find myself laughing, crying, and sighing throughout each story and I cannot wait to see what she sends my way next.
