Promoting reading in all it's forms
To share a book is to share an escape, an adventure, a journey, an education, and above all to share joy. The best gift my parents ever gave me was the joy of reading! It has helped me throughout my life from getting through school, life in the Army, back to school again, and through 20 years of struggling and loneliness. In fact it still continues to help me today. I was able to share this wonderful gift with my daughters and now I want to share it with even more children who might not otherwise get the opportunity. From 0 - adult we are children at heart when we find ourselves traveling between the pages of a book.
Book Pillows
My biggest form of outreach is donating my book pillows to children from organizations and individuals in need.

Book Boxes
Even adults need a gift of joy sometimes, and an escape from reality. I know, since I need one at least 4 times a day. In an effort to lessen the angst of everyday life for those adults in our lives, I hold giveaways monthly on my Facebook and Instagram pages. I also like to randomly share the joy of reading with those adults who have been identified as suffering from hard times.
