I am on a roll today! I have managed to take a break from life and just catch up on all of the stuff I need to do around the house. You know load and run the dishwasher, sort the laundry, work on my homework, and finish alterations on a dance costume, not to mention writing and publishing some of the posts for my blog. This next author is one of my absolute favorites. She has some long running series, that are interconnected and keep my attention throughout them all. She has had life get intense for her over the last few years, but she still manages to put out new works that just collect like gems on her bookshelf. She has even updated some of the covers from her previously released books. I am not sure that I am a fan of this practice, because some of the covers I absolutely loved, but I can see where authors would want to breed new life into old releases, so they get new readers.
Those new covers encouraged me to pick up some of my old favorites and re-read them so the tactic must be working. Why I read and re-read so many of her releases that she took the number 6 slot in my 2022 Top 10 most read authors out of 148 authors. I had the pleasure of reading 17 of her books in 2022 and I can’t wait to read even more in 2023.
