So, I will pretty much go to any zoo I come across during my travels, as you might have noticed, no matter how out of the way it may be. This little out of the way place was one of those unexpected finds. We drove past on our way to Rochester, so we just had to stop in on our way back home. We debated because my youngest wasn’t too sure about the reptile part of Reptiland, but I just couldn’t resist and so we ventured forth.
Reptiland was so much more than I was expecting. It’s not just little snakes and turtles, there are Komodo dragons, crocodiles, and even dinosaurs, yeah that one we never saw coming either. Yep! Dinosaurs! There were so many different exhibits, inside and out, and they were way bigger than I thought, it made it impossible to determine where we wanted to start. They even have this neat little gift shop with items from all over the place to look at and purchase.
If you ever find yourself on the backroads in Pennsylvania, you will certainly want to stop in and see what you can see. Especially if you have a lover of all thing’s reptile in the car with you.
The book that joined me on this adventure was another diamond in the rough. The author is one of my favorites with her paranormal MC romance series, not that she doesn’t have other genres in her library that you would be remiss if you didn’t check out. The characters are rough and edgy and absolute softies when they find their special someone. The stories have laughter, wit, and fascinating repartee that just pull you into the stories, and this book is a wonderful example of that.
The leading lady is a feisty gal who wants what she wants and is not willing to let anything get in her way. Too bad the baddies are not on the same wavelength as her. Luckily a little fairy, okay it’s really the queen of all the fae, and her angry mate are more than willing, some more willing than others, in fact there may have been some dragging of feet and procrastination involved, to help her reach her goal. This book is high energy and high intensity, and you just have to read for yourself to truly understand.
