They say there is a first time for everything, so Summer and I tried our hands at serving beer at the MD State Fair this year to help support Boumi. It started out a little rainy and cold, and maybe a little eerie with the grounds mostly empty and not a ride moving, but by the end of our shift the sun was peaking out and the rain was out of the area. Hopefully that meant a good concert experience for whomever was going to brave the mud.
The traffic at our booth might not have been as brisk as a sunny day would have brought, but we had a great time with the crew. Thanks Pat, for being such a wonderful teacher! And to your darling wife for keeping me company and making the hours pass quickly.
We even had some fun entertainment swing by in the form of a piano “car” whose driver belted out wonderful renditions as he tickled the ivories. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and Summer, and I, are looking forward to doing it again next year.
As always, I had my trusty IPad mini and kindle app with me, but between the rain and the wonderful company I didn’t get too much reading in. But this book is one that I know I will be reading again, and again. The characters were everything I have come to expect from this author. They kept me entertained and wishing that I could step into the pages of her book. And the story was one that had the right amount of heat, danger, and romance to keep me coming back for more.
The fair is over for this year, but we hope to see you at our booth in the future. Hopefully the rain will not make a reappearance, but we didn’t do too shabby with our 20 sales on a rainy day. I hope you don’t wait a year to take a journey with this book though. It is one you are not going to want to miss.

This book has all the emotional highs and lows that I love about this author, with plenty of action and danger to amp up the intensity. The characters were well developed and phenomenal! I found myself fully submersed in their world and unable to step away until I reached the very end and the HEA. I can only hope that the author will continue the series until all of the burgeoning alphas find their mates and their HEAs. This book is a guaranteed all night read and I look forward to seeing what the author thinks up next.
