Kindles in the Wild – Wolf – Rebecca Zanetti – September 11, 2022 – Beer Brigade

They say there is a first time for everything, so Summer and I tried our hands at serving beer at the MD State Fair this year to help support Boumi. It started out a little rainy and cold, and maybe a little eerie with the grounds mostly empty and not a ride moving, but by the end of our shift the sun was peaking out and the rain was out of the area. Hopefully that meant a good concert experience for whomever was going to brave the mud.

The traffic at our booth might not have been as brisk as a sunny day would have brought, but we had a great time with the crew. Thanks Pat, for being such a wonderful teacher! And to your darling wife for keeping me company and making the hours pass quickly.

We even had some fun entertainment swing by in the form of a piano “car” whose driver belted out wonderful renditions as he tickled the ivories. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and Summer, and I, are looking forward to doing it again next year.

As always, I had my trusty IPad mini and kindle app with me, but between the rain and the wonderful company I didn’t get too much reading in. But this book is one that I know I will be reading again, and again. The characters were everything I have come to expect from this author. They kept me entertained and wishing that I could step into the pages of her book. And the story was one that had the right amount of heat, danger, and romance to keep me coming back for more.

The fair is over for this year, but we hope to see you at our booth in the future. Hopefully the rain will not make a reappearance, but we didn’t do too shabby with our 20 sales on a rainy day. I hope you don’t wait a year to take a journey with this book though. It is one you are not going to want to miss.

Happy Reading

# 1 in Kindle Vella at launch!

Rebecca Zanetti returns to her paranormal romance roots!

When Mia Stone is asked to consult on a case in the middle of nowhere, she leaps at the chance to escape the disaster that has become her FBI career, while ignoring the threat still pursuing her. Her instincts tell her that the small mining town of Lost Lake is out of the norm, and that’s before she meets the strongest suspect, a sexy and dangerous Seth Volk who draws her in a way she can’t fight. Seth Volk has enough on his plate without worrying about a sweet and brilliant investigator on his tail. At his heart, he’s a predator, which comes in handy as the enforcer for his family and also his pack. His secret is barely beneath the surface, and if he allows Mia too close, she’ll see the wolf he tries to hide. When an unknown threat comes out of the forest, their only path to survive is with each other, no matter how sharp his bite or how deadly her wit. WOLF was initially published in Kindle Vella

Found with you

This book has all the emotional highs and lows that I love about this author, with plenty of action and danger to amp up the intensity. The characters were well developed and phenomenal! I found myself fully submersed in their world and unable to step away until I reached the very end and the HEA. I can only hope that the author will continue the series until all of the burgeoning alphas find their mates and their HEAs. This book is a guaranteed all night read and I look forward to seeing what the author thinks up next.

5 stars

Rebecca Zanetti is the author of over forty romantic suspense, dark paranormals, and contemporary romances, and her books have appeared multiple times on the New York Times, USA Today, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and iBooks bestseller lists. She lives in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with her own Alpha hero, two kids, a couple of dogs, a crazy cat…and a huge extended family. She believes strongly in luck, karma, and working her butt off…and she thinks one of the best things about being an author, unlike the lawyer she used to be, is that she can let the crazy out.
