If you couldn’t tell from my previous posts, we love being in, on, and around the water. It usually is a big focus of any vacation we take no matter the body of water, lake, ocean, sea, pond, creek, well you get the idea. Fortunately for us we live in a state that has an abundance of water available, so for this trip we didn’t have to go that far from home. This was actually our second weeklong trip to Ocean City in 2022. It is kind of funny that I have spent so much time down the ocean with my girls because I never went as a kid. But any who, we took full advantage of this unexpected opportunity to adventure and explore. This excursion found us once again on the water in a tour boat. Captain Logan took us along the shoreline to see the sights on and off the land. We were able to see the wild horses, water birds, and other wildlife all from the comfort of the boat. This is a fun little adventure if you are in Ocean City, Maryland and have an hour to an hour and a half open. It is perfect for all age groups, and the crew were very knowledgeable about the area and made the sharing of the information fun.
The book I took along for this journey is one that I have read multiple times, but each time I find something new to enjoy. Even if it is just a new cover, although I am partial to the version that was on my ebook in 2022. I don’t know I think seeing real people just adds more character to the cover. The current version makes me think of when it was just a little too taboo to read smut out in public. Regardless of which cover graces your copy of the book, Seducing the Dragon by Jessie Donovan, you are not going to want to miss this exciting tale that started it all. The author starts us off with a woman on the run to her last resort and a man who holds his clan in his hands but can’t resist saving her. These two clash in the most exciting way and before the end you will fall in love with more than one dragon man.
Together these two were a winning combination, but no matter which you chose to enjoy, I hope you take a little time to enjoy the great outdoors, your favorite body of water, even if it’s just your bathtub, and a good book.

NOTE: If you don't want a curvy, strong heroine, a dragon clan leader with a sneaky inner dragon, lots of spice (or steam), dirty talk, and lots of heart-pounding moments, then don't read this book. It is most definitely not fade to black. However, if you want a seggsy dragon-shifter story set in the UK with lots of banter, feels, and cameos from Tristan and Melanie, then grab your copy today!

A strong woman
There are so many emotional highs and lows in this book. The author really made Evie such a strong character, she was the perfect mate for Bram. Even with everything going on she kept Bram on his toes I also liked how Arabella is slowly finding her way. Even with the lose the clan goes through the story ends with a fantastic HEA. I can’t wait to read all about the next HEA from this author.
