Kindles in the Wild – Mated on Hades – Golden Angel – Weber’s Farm Strawberry Festival – June 4, 2022

Weber’s Cider Mill Farms is one of those locations that always makes you feel like a kid again. The store front is always open, but throughout the year they have these little festivals with craft and food vendors, and outdoor activities for the kiddos. You can stroll around and check out the farm animals, go mining for gems, or take a trip down the slides. Whatever you do, don’t forget to go on the other side of the lane and support the local vendors. Come with an empty belly to partake in the flavor of the season and enjoy whatever food trucks are on hand for the event. From the moment you park in the field across the street until you leave for the day, you will be surrounded by laughter and the enticing smells of delicious foods.

While you are there, why not pull up a seat at the picnic tables and enjoy not just your sweet treat, but the book of the day. This journey was right around the corner from my house, but the book was completely out of this world. I enjoyed how the hero in Mated on Hades finds the love of his life all in an effort to keep from disappointing his mom. But with all good stories, this one holds that edge of emotional angst and romance that keeps you glued to the pages until the very end.  Of course, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

No matter which book you take with you, I hope you take the time to stop and enjoy the donuts and ice cream next time you are in the area of Weber’s Cider Mill Farm

This is such an enjoyable book! The way these two are brought together when they weren’t really looking for a real connection brings truth to the thought that you find what you aren’t looking for. I love the way this broken soul finds her people, not just ones who care for her and have her back, but who she cares for as well. I would love to see more stories about the rest of the crew.
