In order for you guys to understand why this next venture was so much fun for me, I think I need to explain a little bit about myself. So, time for some little-known facts about me. I used to be a mechanic way back when, okay that makes me sound old when I am only 44. What can I say? The Army gets their hooks in us young, and we end up having full careers before most people know what they want to be when they grow up. Although, I am not still sure what I want to be when I grow up………..mmmmm maybe a forest ranger………. But I digress, I like bad boys, bikers and tattoos. Oh wait! Might not need to know all that about me, but it’s too late now. I apologize for ruining it for some of you, but while I do tend to be quiet, and I like to sew and read, I am not little Ms Susy home maker. Nope, I am a rebel at heart, and it’s the way I like it.
Any who, I am a complete and total gearhead, along with being a geek and a nerd. I love to get elbows deep in an engine, especially an old engine, covered in grease and cursing the latest set of smashed digits. There is nothing more I like to do then stop and stare at a fine-looking piece of metal and chrome. And let me tell you, this was one fantastic day for me. I got to hang out with my family and friends, check out the scenery, and enjoy the sunny day. If you guys are in the area next year, you won’t want to miss an opportunity to let your gearhead out and check out these hot rides. The guys sure know how to put on an amazing show.
The book I took with me was an absolute gem. I feel like I should expect it, but this author always takes me by surprise with her fantastic stories. I love how an innocent attempt to read a book led to a grand adventure and a love for the ages. The characters were fantastic, and this first story threw me right down the series rabbit hole and I couldn’t stop with just one. Okay it might have actually thrown me down the author’s entire library rabbit hole, but I was impeded a bit by my wallet. If you have never enjoyed this author’s work or this series, I have no idea what you are waiting for. Both are something that you will not want to miss experiencing.

Strength beyond measure
Squee! I just found a new favorite! I absolutely loved the action and danger! The never knowing what was coming around the corner, and who the bad guy was, the storyline was fantastic! But the characters were even better! The amount and depth of emotions the author was able to convey in the story drew me in. I enjoyed the brotherly love, and I loved watching this blossom the longer they are in close contact. But the love story really stole the show. The way their connection grew and developed, the amount of strength it took her to face evil, true evil, and keep an open mind, and the way he absolutely loves her, well once he figures out he’s in love, made me never want to put it down. This book is perfect for the weekend, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
