Kindles in the Wild – Dragon Men do it Better – J Thompson & Mina Carter – April 24, 2021

Summer and I hit the road this past weekend for parts unknown. Okay they were known, but we hadn’t had a chance to go check them out before. We traveled about 2 and ½ hours to the scenic little town of Coplay, PA to take a 5.5 mile walk and see the sights. Along the way we got a chance to see the fog coming off of the water, that’s what happens when you leave super early to take life head on, and we made some detours on the way back. As always, we had our trusty Kindles on hand, nope sorry they are iPad mini 5s that we use the Kindle app on, but what evs. If you are ever in the area, we highly recommend this walking trail. The entire trail is paved and fairly flat until you get to the end where there is a slight hill. And as always, we hope you take the opportunity to add this fantastic book to your collection.

Happy Reading

Sometimes a gal's gotta go what a gal's gotta do… even if that involves big girl panties and a very sexy dragon-man…

A bounty hunter with her eyes on the prize, Jenna's to do list includes making obscene amounts of money, pizza and ice-cream at the weekends, and world domination. It does not include an asshole of a space rat, or a black hole. It especially did not include a planet in the ass end of beyond where everything is out to eat her. Or a sexy alien who she'd really like to-- But, she's a big girl. She can deal. What she didn't count on was him…

Stranded on a backwater planet, he's given up on rescue and his gods. Just. He doesn't expect the answer to his prayers to be a tiny, soft alien with curves that make his mouth water…

Former favourite of a dead tyrant, Ranaar has been left out to die on a planet so far from the space lanes he might as well be on the edge of the universe. The planet is hostile, everything on it, including the plant-life, predatory. So he fits right in.

When a ship crashes on his planet, he's not prepared to meet his first human. He's definitely not prepared for the reaction she invokes in him. But he is prepared to kill to keep her safe.

Official published review:

It’s getting hot in here

No really! But what do you expect when the characters crash land on a raging inferno planet, and the steam between these two is off the charts. These might be some of my favorite characters. They are misunderstood in their own worlds, but together they find that perfect harmony. The author kept the action high with the dangers of the planet and the bad guys, making it impossible to stop reading until the HEA. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what these ladies come up with next.

J. Thompson is an indie writer of fantasy fiction and paranormal romance, and a major fan of procrastination. Jenn has always loved history, so using her wild imagination and tying in her love of history and fantasy, she began a new adventure into the world of words. Weaving romance into old worlds and giving life to her mythical inspired novels is what Jenn does best, and she has a lot more planned in the future, including some hard-assed demons. When she isn't bent over her laptop with the crazy writer eyes, you will find Jenn making jewelry, cross stitching and it doing paper crafts. Jenn is also a fitness lover and enjoys working out with her husband, either at the gym or at Caveman Training. J Thompson is a passionate, if a little nuts, author who believes wholeheartedly that people are good and that everyone deserves romance - even Hades.

Mina was born and raised in the East Farthing of Middle Earth (otherwise known as the Midlands, England) and spend her childhood learning all the sorts of things generally required of a professional adventurer. Able to ride, box, shoot, make and read maps, make chainmail and use a broadsword (with varying degrees of efficiency) she was disgusted to find that adventuring is not considered a suitable occupation these days. So, instead of slaying dragons and hunting vampires and the like, Mina spends her days writing about hot shifters, government conspiracies and vampire lords with more than their fair share of RAWR. Turns out wanna-be adventurers have quite the turn of imagination after all... (But she keeps that sword sharp, just in case the writing career is just a dream and she really *is* an adventurer.) The boring part: A full time author, photographer and cover artist, Mina can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or graphics tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and would like to be addicted to chocolate, but unfortunately chocolate dislikes her.
