Author Laurann Dohner

*** THIS IS A RERELEASE OF A PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED BOOK *** Shannon may be quarter puma, but can’t shift. She’s just a human with a few extra genes. But she knows how dangerous shifters are, and now she’s their prey, captured by a group of werewolves for a deadly hunt. Then she’s rescued by the biggest werewolf of them all. He’s the sexiest male she’s ever seen—jet-black hair, muscular body, piercing dark eyes and a growl that heats her blood. Anton’s body responds fervently to Shannon and he vows to protect her with his life—only to discover she’s the enemy. As the future alpha of his pack, Anton knows a cat will never be accepted. There’ll be hell to pay. But it’s mating heat, and he’s about to lose all control to that driving sexual need. His wolf wants her, can smell her desire. There’s no way to stop it now—his animal won’t be denied.

Rescuing a kitten from a tree

Such an exciting story! The author brought us right into the action with page one and doesn’t let up until the HEA. I love the characters and how we got to see more of our favorites from the first book. Plus who wouldn’t want to have brothers who have each other’s back? These two characters had some cultural differences to get in the way of their emotional bonding, not to mention bad pennies that just kept showing up and bringing the danger with them, but in the end it all works out with a HEA that I can’t wait to read again. This book is a fantastic read and a wonderful addition to the series, I can’t wait to see what happens next.

NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author I'm a full-time wife, mother, and author. I've been lucky enough to have spent over two decades with the love of my life and look forward to many, many more years with Mr. Laurann. I'm addicted to iced coffee, the occasional candy bar (or two), and trying to get at least five hours of sleep at night. I love to write all kinds of stories. I think the best part about writing is the fact that real life is always uncertain, always tossing things at us that we have no control over, but when writing you can make sure there's always a happy ending. I love that about being an author. My favorite part is when I sit down at my computer desk, put on my headphones to listen to loud music to block out everything around me, so I can create worlds in front of me.
