But even for a master of silence and solitude, that’s easier said than done… Gift of the Beast is a steamy holiday romance set in the Mate of the Beast universe. Complete with a HEA and no cliffhangers.

The silent one

This book has the perfect strong, silent male who is not quite broken by his past, and throws him with a sassy, independent single mom who is still half living in her’s. I love how these two just kind of slowly come together over months of peaceful coexistence. But in true toddler fashion, Lila breaks the silence with her constant questions and joyful laughter. And then the author shakes family dinner to it’s core, with action and danger and horrible exs. This book is such a fantastic holiday read, I can see it becoming one of my annual re-reads and can’t wait to see what the author brings my way next.
