How can that ever be a bad thing with someone he wants? Okay, so she could kill him in bed, if others don’t get to him first.
Jackie sees how brilliant, brave, and selfless Wilder is. He’s the polar opposite of most of the men Jackie’s known. She can’t fight her attraction to him, and he’s clearly into her, but a long term love seems out of the question. Until a serum makes him so much more than just a cute geek.

I think this is one of my favorite books from the Alpha Geek series. I love how the story starts with a courageous act, and turns into an amazing HEA. No corporate espionage in sight with this one, just trafficking, kidnapping, betrayal, and an absolutely daring rescue. But who’s rescuing who? These two characters are amazing! They have the strength of character to survive and overcome and the sweet, vulnerability that made it so easy to connect with them. I was completely vested in their mission and their HEA by the end of the book and was not disappointed. This book was a wonderful read and I can’t wait to read the next installment.
