Are you guys ready for a time hop today? The rush is on for me to get all of my 2022 Kindles in the Wild posts up before the end of the year. I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but the rush is on. For this little excursion we were not far from home, but it is a little hop back to May.
This summer, the season not my daughter 😊, my daughter Summer’s Job’s Daughters youth group supported one of the local DeMoly youth groups with their once-a-month food truck night. From Comfort Kitchen to Aunt Annie’s Pretzels, and quite a few in between, we were able to support the group and fill our bellies with good food. There was fun time with friends and family, and a social gathering of book readers with nothing but sun, warmth, and time on our hands. And where there is an audience, the boys will come out to play, so we got the opportunity to see the Boumi Big Rigs in action at a non-parade event.
We had many fun nights this summer and many opportunities to read good books. The book I read for this date is from one of my favorite authors. She always takes me to the stars with her books. With this book, I might have thought it was the beginning of the series, only to find out that it was not. Lucky for me, I don’t mind starting in the middle and I was quickly drawn into the fast paced tall of adventure, danger and romance. The characters were as phenomenal as always and I absolutely loved the HEA. This is one of those books that I am sure will make it to my “To Be Read” folder all over again.
Are you guys lovers of the food trucks in your area? They really do seem to be the rage these days, but who can beat an opportunity to try multiple types of new foods all in one sitting. I may be a little biased as I used to join the gang during lunch to walk out the front gate and partake of the roach coach that would keep the soldier fed. If you have not enjoyed a food truck feast, I highly recommend and it goes without saying that this book is the perfect one to take along for the experience.

Just when I think I have started at the beginning of a series I realized that I missed a book. But that’s okay, other than a few references I didn’t feel lost at all! And I absolutely love the characters and can’t wait to read more about them. The author kept the intensity and action high throughout the story making the book an exciting adventure I didn’t want to put down. And she ended it with the best HEA. This book was a wonderful weekend read and I can’t wait to to pick up the next chapter.
