Starting the day, and the weekend, the right way. We borrowed a friend, and her dad’s kayaks, to head out to the water. We loved this new location! I feel terrible for not getting his name, hottie with the long hair and abs for days, but he was super nice and made this a fantastic experience. Seriously! Where else were we going to find someone to loan us some life jackets, can’t believe we forgot those, and he even helped us launch and load back up. He was helpful, courteous, and fun, and he managed to make that awkward moment when you get out of the kayak and resemble a beached whale just a fact of life. 😊
The waterway was everything he said it would be, clean, great scenery, and just smooth sailing. We got to enjoy each other’s company, see the wildlife, and get a fantastic workout during those hours of peace on the water. Overall, this location has moved to the top of our visit often kayak and paddle board favorites.
We can’t wait to go back!
And what better book to take along for the ride then this one by a brand new to me author. I absolutely fell in love with this book and have already started down the rabbit hole of the series. Amazon says there are four books, but currently book four just routes back to book two, so it’s anyone’s guess what the real story is. The characters were fantastic, and I absolutely loved the story line and how the author has already set us up for the next books. You guys better get started on this series soon, book three is scheduled to hit my kindle app on August 13th. And I can’t wait!

Not that same old werewolf story
I don’t know where this book has been all of my life, but I think I’m in love! The characters have such fantastic personalities and I just love how not everything is as it seems. The author kept me entertained with the way they all interacted and the thoughts that kept running through their heads. By the end I was completely invested in the outcome of the book and couldn’t wait to see what happens next. This book is my first experience with this author, but it won’t be the last.
