Phoenix and the Dragon: Tales of the Were (Lick of Fire Book 3)

Published to Amazon on December 11, 2018

Author Bianca D’Arc

Dragon and man, Paul recognizes the magic in Syd, a woman just coming into her fiery powers. Can they withstand the flames, or will they both burn…with desire? Paul is a dragon shifter - the only one of his kind. He's been searching the world over for signs of other dragons, but so far, he’s the only one. When he feels a familiar fire magic tugging him toward the Southwestern United States, he has to investigate. Syd is very much afraid she’s losing her mind. Subject to increasingly disturbing visions, she’s afraid the simple premonitions she’s had all her life are evolving into something darker. Something scary. When her car breaks down in the middle of the desert, Paul appears out of nowhere to help her get back on the road again. She offers him a ride, knowing—somehow—that the simple gesture will change her life forever. Whether for good or evil... well... that remains to be seen.

Family are the people you choose

I really hope this isn’t the last book in the spinoff series. We have met so many new characters that need to make a mate connection, plus who knows what Oma is up to in the old country. How awesome that the author was able to work on old legend into this story. Oh, and she kept my favorite part about a car emergency and a damsel in distress. I am really enjoying the fire that each of these books brings to the Tales of the Were and I am really looking forward to the next book.

Bianca D'Arc started her professional life running a laboratory. After grad school, she started to climb the corporate ladder in the shark-infested streets of lower Manhattan. Along the way, she studied various forms of the martial arts, racked up hundreds of thousands of frequent flyer miles, and learned that life is too short to spend it doing something you dislike. She now writes full time and loves it more than anything, though she'll always miss her first love... her laboratory Author’s Website: Author’s Facebook: Author’s Instagram: Author’s Amazon: Author’s Goodreads: Author’s BookBub: Author’s mailing list:
