Eventually they discover that life before finding each other may have been good, but life afterwards is perfect, even if it involves super soaker battles and accidentally discharging hand grenades. Unfortunately the joy of their mating is overshadowed when Aiden and Meryn find themselves embroiled in a missing persons case assigned to Aiden by the Lycaonian Council. By assisting Aiden, Meryn finds herself the focus of a demented killer. Can Aiden and the elite warriors from the Alpha Unit keep Meryn safe? Or did Fate bring her to Lycaonia to die?

This book is full of laughter, joy, friends, family and love. Meryn is a petite, spunky human who has never really fit in due to social awkwardness and knowing her place in the flow of life. Aiden is a kind, cuddly bear shifter who is The unit commander and the heir to the shifter elder. Their lives are forever changed when Meryn does what she does best, follows her own path and makes her own rules. Through many trials they find their way to each other and a love for the ages. The laughs, tears and aww moments abound throughout the pages of this book. I can’t wait to see which warriors mate finds their way to Lyconia next.

Alanea Alder started writing at a very young age, some of her first scribblings are treasured in a keepsake box and written in green marker. She started when she was still in grade school and continued on through college. A Jack of All Trades, Alanea loves to read.
