If you have never read any books by this author before, this is the one to start with. Her characters are well written with a hidden well of strength beyond their immediate circumstances, and a softness that makes them easy to connect with. I absolutely loved the storyline and was so happy to see them make it to the HEA. The author kept the story moving with the bad guys just around the corner, but she knew just the right assistance to send along the way. This book was a fantastic read, perfect for the holidays, and I am really hoping that Kemp finds his perfect mate next.
