Look beyond the surface

I’m not going to lie, this book took a little bit for me to get into. It was my own hang-up though because I just couldn’t wrap my head around the spiderness of the main character. But I absolutely loved the story. The characters were everything I have come to expect from this author and the entire struggle to overcome preconceived notions and look past the surface into the heart of the person really resonated with me. I enjoyed how these two slowly made the way to their HFN and I loved how they faced each road block. The author kept it interesting with the story that was hiding in the kingdom, and a queen who cares nothing for her subjects, and I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens. I would recommend this book as a weekend read or just any time you are looking for something with depth. You will not be disappointed.
