Mistress of the night
This book is absolutely amazing! I love that it overlaps the previous story and they seem to run in tandem. The characters are fantastic, as always. They have such depth that they practically leap off the page. I love how Isobel and Blaise are the perfect complement for each other and enjoyed every minute of them coming together. The author really outdid herself with the byplay between the characters, and I love that we got to see another layer to Bill and Gus. This book was impossible to put down and I was enthralled until the very last page. You just can’t get any better than this, but I am looking forward to reading the next book to see the author prove me wrong!
