Are you guys ready for the warmer months? I know I am! I have grand designs for day trips, kayaking, hiking, and so much more. I kind of feel like Meryn, you know visiting all of the pillar cities. Which kind of brings me right to my next Author of the Month.
This author is a genius when it comes to the written word, she makes me laugh, she makes me cry, and she made me fall in love with a band of characters that I can’t wait to visit over and over again. I think Meryn might just be my spirit animal, although I don’t run on coffee, Ryuu I need an extra hot venti chai latte please, but nerd gear and graphic teas are my jam. And I might not have a Mac, but I am pretty sure she will like my gamer laptop with dual fans, blue light up keyboard, and a backup charge for when the ferals take out the lights.
But Bewitched and Bewildered is not the only series that this author has brought to my Kindle app. She has brought me that crazy gang from the Kindred of Arkadia as well and instilled it with the same humor and drama that drew me to her as an author to begin with. And have you heard? She is going to be bringing us The Vanguard series! And more of the Bewitched and Bewildered gang and I absolutely can’t wait! But you know what she says, Creative Pursuits Take Time, so we will have to wait until she is ready to read the new brilliance that she manages to put on paper.
Until then I will continue to build my paperback collection, I just need the most recent release that are not available in paperback yet, and I will keep starting at the beginning all over again. Each new read brings me things I missed the last time, and a joy I can’t even begin to describe. And to think it all began with My Commander.
