Kindles in the Wild – Kissing Wilde – Selena Blake – June 10, 2021

This little jaunt is the real reason we were in Miami for the day. The kids wanted to check it out the other day when we were in Ft Lauderdale, but after discovering the traffic situation was exactly like home, I decided we would come back another day.

The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science has to be one of the best science centers I have ever been to. We grabbed some lunch when we first arrived and then it was off to the Imax. No matter how many times I watch and Imax film I am amazed at the ability to feel like I am part of the experience.

From there we took the guide’s advice and headed for the top floors to work our way down. The wetlands exhibits were amazing, especially considering we were on the top floor and in the middle of Miami. We could look out and see the cruise ships ready to spirit people away on adventures, while we toured the different areas, enjoying the salty air as we got to see the amazing animals.

Each floor took us to a new level of the water, the human body, and the flight experience. We even got a chance to see dinosaurs. Amazing! And look! I finally got around to reading this fantastic short story by one of my favorite authors. I love how the author pulled on my heart strings as the main characters helped with the relief during a hurricane (Sooo glad we didn’t see one of those on our trip) while traversing the friends to lover’s relationship.

Both the museum and book are ones that I would recommend you experience. They are sure to capture your imagination and leave you wanting more.

Happy Reading

Spread the love

The perfect read for any animal lover, this super sweet romance drew me in and left me wanting more. I love the characters! Their personalities match and enhance the story and their connection cannot be denied. I enjoyed the crusade they found themselves on, and how one tiny puppy brought down the walls they were fearful of scaling. Like all the books I’ve read by this author, I lost myself in the story and can’t wait to read it all over again. The author did an outstanding job with this book and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
